Designer Jeans?

Sometimes when I write these posts, I feel like I'm talking to myself...

But anyways, I wanted to make the topic of this post: Designer Jeans.

Designer Jeans or "DJ" is a nickname for this nerdy, pale, weirdo that Cheer Mafia has gotten into many altercations with. I'm almost positive we've made him cry at some point...

The most memorable of altercations is also the first time that Tyler met DJ, when DJ first got his nickname, and when Cheer Mafia first got it's name. Big day for everyone involved, really. So I'll just set the scene for you: We're all at a baseball park. Cheer Mafia is chilling on a blanket thing. I don't remember what we were doing, probably making bracelets or something. DJ showed up, being all pale, frail, and strange. He's got this huge backpack on. It made him look like a turtle. He was also wearing this light blue shirt, which doesn't seem very essential right now, but it'll be pretty important in a minute.

Anyways, DJ comes over and asks if he can sit with us. (I already knew him. I'd met him a couple years back. So I'd already developed an opinion of him. I disliked him heavily. He knew it too.) Tyler, like an idiot, freaking lets him. DJ doesn't have very good social skills. He liked to brag about his "designer jeans" and his $300 camera which was inside his turtle backpack. I could see why he didn't have any friends at the baseball field. The first thing that happened was I think Tyler was looking through my bag for some gum or something. And DJ goes, "You know, it's not polite to look through a girl's purse," in his squeaky, pre-puberty voice.

I just glared at him and said, "That's my purse and Tyler can do whatever he wants."

He responds with, "Oh sorry. It's not polite to look through its purse."

That's when all heck broke loose:

Out of nowhere, Tyler whipped out this anti-bacterial gel bottle and sprays a big glob onto DJ's shirt while screaming, "GET AWAY FROM US!"

Trinity and I just started laughing like hyenas.

"Come on, guys," DJ whined. "This is my lucky acting shirt."

What the heck?

So like a mature, grown person, DJ goes and cries to his mommy about what mean people we are. Like I actually saw him sitting on his mother's lap, crying.

Meanwhile, Cheer Mafia had a really good time making fun of him. At some point, my mom came over and was like, "I just thought of a name for you guys: The Cheer Mafia."

And that was it. We were named and bound by the amusing incident of Designer Jeans. Oh God, I really hope DJ doesn't find this and read it. I'll get into so much trouble. Okay. I guess that's it. Also here is a bunny.

Okay bye.

The First Meeting

I'm the ex-cheerleader. My name is Keely.

<--- And this is me and my Cheer Mafia (I'm the one in the rainbow hat).

I guess I should start at the first time CM came to be. So here we go...

Well the girl in the Lego hat, Trinity is my little sister. So I knew her already. I met the blonde one, Tyler at a baseball game two years ago. (Our older brothers played baseball in the same league, so sometimes they'd play against each other.)

I was wearing my National Champion sweatshirt, which is the only reason Tyler came up to talk to me. But I don't really care. He started by asking Trinity and I what cheer gym we went to, what skills we had, etc. (These are standard Cheer World questions.)

Then that was pretty much it. We became friends and played ninja with some other nine-year-olds. It was fun until Tyler got hit in the face and claimed that he definitely had a concussion. (He didn't.) But yeah, that's pretty much it. We've known Tyler for two years now. Within those two years, I've quit cheer, Tyler's made the Worlds team, and Trin's learned how to curl my hair with socks (more on that later). I'll post more posts with pictures.

Bye. :)
